Measuring Substances In Many Ways!!
In this Prezi our group was able to demonstrate how using the powerful mole can help in labs performed in class. We were able to make predictions on how much of a substance is needed and would react with the other. It was a great new way to see math and how the real world works. It was a lot of fun playing with all the substances that we got to. We made copper chloride and aluminum react which was a lot of fun. The way the chloride reacted with the aluminum was just fun to watch and play around with. These labs helped us to use our knowledge and what we were learning in class and allow us to apply it to what we were needing to do.

Stoicheometry
In the work sheet below I was able to do these calculations really easily. Everything that is needed to be calculated can be done using either ratios or moles. It is self explanatory also, if you have moles on top then you will have to divide with a mole on the bottom of the fraction to cancel out the measurements.

The Mole and it's uses

As you can see a lot of calculations were needed to be made to convert this recipe into the common amounts used while cooking. It was actually quite fun to play around with. I was also able to go home and cook these cookies using this recipe. They tasted good, but I over cooked them and burned them a little:(
